Firstly I'm not a fan of bus tours. I went on this tour as it seemed the easiest way to see a number of sites. I'm pleased to say I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The tour guide was very informative, friendly and funny. I loved the ancient sites such a Delphi and Olympia and thought there was adequate time allowed at each site to do the guided tour and explore individually. I think what really made the tour special where the other participants. Everybody was friendly and mixed in well. I made a number of immediate tour friends. My only criticism would be the included meals which where all buffet style the food was mass produced and very mediocre. The first lunch stop which wasn't an included meal was at a restaurant outside a town so there were no other options. The restaurant offered about 4 traditional meals at a set price. I just wanted a sandwich or salad but was unable to get either. I would suggest stopping in a village that has a number of different lunch options.

This was a high-value tour for an introduction to Ancient Greece and its mythology. Our travel guide was really knowledgable, accommodating of everyone and the rest of the CHAT Tours staff were also good to us. We stayed in very comfortable hotels, ate delicious Greek food and were given enough time to explore on our own. This sort of tour would be enjoyable for all ages - from student to senior citizens.

A GREAT WAY OF SEEING ALL THE CLASSIC SITES WITH GOOD TOUR GUIDES, CLEAN and MODERN ACCOMMODATION AND PLENTY OF LOCAL FOOD. AN INFORMATIVE MEMORIAL TRIP OF GOOD VALUE. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE STURDY WALKING SHOES AS SOME OF THE TRACKS ARE ROUGH BUT THAT'S PART OF THE EXPERIENCE!

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour and it was mainly due to the guide we had. Joy was a gem and I think one of the best local guides we have been fortunate to ever have. She is extremely knowledgeable, and she shares this information with you in a very sensitive manner. She was able to give us a story as we went along in an articulate manner. She shared but did not lecture. Lots of fun and I only wish we had her longer! The hotels were fine. The food slightly disappointing. Overcooked and no regional Greek dishes as we would expect. The bus was good.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this three day excursion. Our tour guide, Stathis, was extremely knowledgeable in Greek history and mythology, and linguistics. The hotels we stayed in were very nice and there was plenty to eat for breakfast and dinner. Lunch was separate but we had plenty of time to stop and eat at the local restaurants. We also made plenty of rest stops for potty breaks and souvenier shopping. We had a very good bus driver too. Take an umbrella in November!

Our tour guide Joy was amazing! She really knows how to tell you about Greek Mythology. No one was happy about the first hotel in Olympia though - the Amalia Olympia wifi connection horrible, the rooms aren't really 4star standard ... maybe 2stars.

As I am travelling alone and not driving, I would not have been able to see these amazing sites without joining a tour. Greece is quite tricky to travel in this area in this aspect. Dimitra, our guide, is excellent with historical and cultural information. I just wish I had more time at each site, but distances are far, and hence, it was important that we all kept to the schedule. One thing I would like to suggest is that we spend more time in Nafplion. It is such a lovely town, and yet, the hotel was 6 km away, and we were given very short time to enjoy it before being whisked away to the hotel. After that, we had 1.5 hours too long! in the hotel to 'freshen up' before dinner. To me, we could have spent more time in Nafplion before heading to the hotel, or we could have stayed in a hotel right in town so that we could explore it on our own.

This was a great tour. The pace was just right and our tour guide is just rich with knowledge. The driver was great as well. Also, the price for this tour in my opinion is a steal.

The guide was good and the sites superb. We did not get enough time at most of the stops, we felt hurried. The first hotel had lousy food and was isolated away from town, requiring a cab ride. The second hotel was better, better food, better view and an easy walk to town.
