I like the pasta I ate. Initially I did not understand well the word crustace and ended up ordering a pasta dish with some shrimps although I am allergic to shrimps. But they kindly proposed me to choose another pasta, which I did. I liked it very much.

We were all extremely pleased with our lunch at Osteria Pastella. They served complimentary prosecco and a fried starter that was wonderful, and we felt spoiled for choice when looking through the menu. Judging from how often the wheel of cheese got carted back and forth, the flambeed dishes that were served from it are almost certainly the most popular. My mother praised her cheese plate as some of the best she's ever had. The staff were as friendly and helpful as you could possibly wish, and their patience with all the clueless tourists was commendable.

We had a reservation for 21:00 on a Friday night and there were open tables. Excellent service and incredible food. We ordered the Florentine steak, their famous cheese pasta and spinach tortellini. You can't go wrong with this place, a must go for vacationers.

The food was out of this world! Absolutely incredible. We are foodies visiting from Canada and loved every bite. We split the truffle pasta and the beef ravioli. Amazing service and food!!

We would give this place 6 stars if we could. We found it by accident and had a wonderful lunch exquisite food and friendly helpful service. After been let down by another restaurant that we had a confirmed booking with we decided to see if the evening meal could live up to the quality of lunch. It certainly did Fabulous again. And although we had no reservation they very kindly found room for us. Best food we have experienced in Italy without a doubt and superb efficient and helpful service. Its reason alone to return to Florence

Great food. The owner and staff are wonderful. Watch them make pasta in the front window before going in

This place was recommended to us by a fellow traveller and we were not disappointed!! Best meal we have had in Italy so far! Could be pricey for some but you get what you pay for, and I happily paid!

The food was wonderful (try the tagliatelle prepared in a wheel of cheese)! The staff were very attentive. As a plus they all spoke English which was wonderful as my Italian isn't up to par. They make the pasta, by hand, in the front window and was very intersting to watch. It is near the Santa Maria Novella station.

We tried the seafood and the pasta and everything came out amazing! You cannot miss the tagliatelle in the cheese wheel and the truffle risotto. It is a little expensive compared to other restaurants, but the quality makes up for it by leaps and bounds. Complimentary starting sparkling wine and digestive liquor at the end was the cherry on top of a perfect meal.

Best meal on our Italy trip! We ate here on NYE and the food and service was excellent. I possibly ate the best pasta in my life here. The truffle pasta made right in front of you in a wheel of cheese. Make reservations before you go.
