I been thear in fabuary 2018 , it was a great day , the mountain was full of ice , whan we was on up stars ,we decided to take the cabel car to go on top , it's a little bit pricey but it worth it . Up there we was surprised because I thought it's going to be cold but really it wasint , ppl was wearing summer cloths . We spant 3 hrs up there . After we decided to see a 7d movie and it was fantastic I really suggest not to miss it .

Beautiful location a must visit. Make sure you dress up very well is it will be freezing cold and take extra set of cloths with you or for the kids as if you end up playing in the snow your cloths will get wet. The view from top are amazing. Worth the visit for sure we will go again.

The most beautifull view and experience. I hiked to the top. It might be quite cold and challenging. The view and the fresh Mountain air and walking on an vulcano is quite the experience. Best experience for me when travelling Sicily. If you go I recommend also visiting the city Bronte. Its a pistachio oriented Village which is also great to visit.

Enta is amazing - More and bigger beautiful then i thought. Its very nice to make a walk on it - But dont go to the cinema on etna - it´s not worth - and it´s very expensive - But all is fine when you stay for example at cratero silvestri and look to the beautiful of the etna and sicilia.

If you do have a rental car, go by your own. It is very easy to get there. And you don’t need a huge group around. Type Rifugio Sapienza into the gps and drive there. It is the station where the lift goes up to 2500 m. Buy the tickets at the station at 1900 m for the lift and the jeeps. It is 64€ each ticket but you get up to 2900 m very easy! There you can go around the craters. Unfortunately the weather was really bad. Rain and hail made us to go back after a short walk. Be prepared for it and take long clothes and a good jacket with you. It can be very rough within minutes ! But It was a real adventure and we can recommend this tour ! And at the moment NO lava! So don’t be disappointed !

Such a nice drive to the top and the view is incredible. You can plan a hiking trip to the summit, cable car rides, or just relax and have a beverage at one of the restaurants. Of course there are also places for excursions and to purchase souvenirs. A must see when visiting Catania.

An interesting hike takes you through a unique endemic flora, dwindling to isolated clumps of plants pioneering the barren lavascape.

This volcano is amazing. You can see so many nature here, a rich soil, espetacular views, many old villages, wine ways, and also find a lot special old trees, like the oldest chestnut in europe. Each village have a nice coffee bar, central square and nice people. Don't be afraid about the volcano sounds or smoke.
