Plaza de Oriente is a square in the historic centre of Madrid, Spain. It is rectangular in shape and monumental in character and was designed in 1844 by Narciso Pascual y Colomer. It is the perfect easy parking spot for any dating. Excellent restaurants and a few tapa bars. The Opera is in front of the Royal Palace with a pleasant garden where to relax .

Sol was my tour guide. She was very knowledgable and showed it. Was able to answer all questions from the tourist. You could tell history is one of her passions. Also, very professional and kind.

A place worth a visit. It is gorgeous, beautiful and amazing. The sceneries are just out of a fairy tale. There are fountains and statues everywhere and to my luck there was a carousel . It is also located near the palace and a just a couple of minutes away from Plaza de España so you just sort of find yourself in it. Definitely a picturesque place.

This is a must-visit spot if you are in Madrid. You can take lots of photos that look amazing on camera. Don't forget to look at the views of the garden below and walk along the facade to see all around.

Gorgeous place to take pictures or have a bite. There are many beautiful statues and it is right next to the palace and the opera. You can walk to many other interesting places from there.

this plaza is very cool!! nice central fountain and surrounded by some sidewalk cafes/restaurants. it is basically across the street from the Royal Palace and a good stopping spot between the palace and Sabatini Gardens or on the way to the Palace from plaza del sol or mercado de san miguel
